Yatri Motorcycles, a startup based in Kathmandu is going to reveal their most awaited electric bike, Project Zero at a public demo on April 23. One can finally place the order and make a touch-less down-payment after the demo show.
Yatri Project Zero Overview
Project Zero or ‘P0’ is the first electric motorcycle of Nepal designed to tackle fuel pollution. Yatri Motorcycles initially launched its prototype back in late 2019 that provided huge hype in Nepal. The design of the P0 looks futuristic that inherits the proportions of a cafe racer and sometimes compared to Tesla’s Cybertruck.
This powertrain bike is capable of covering 230km of distance on a single charge that only requires 2 hours to get fully charged. The powerful battery holds 8kWH of energy and incorporates Lithium-Nickel-Manganese chemistry pouch cells to maximize battery efficiency and health.
A 48kW (approximately 64hp) electric motor delivers 650 Nm of instant torque that performs 60kmph only under 2.5 seconds.
Yatri Hub is Yatri’s own ecosystem app and one of the many features that separate “P-0” from other electric motorcycles. A beautiful 7’’ TFT Full-HD display provides all valuable real-time telemetry data such as navigation, tracking, and even the amount of C02 you have not emitted and the amount of money you have saved on petrol.
